This Saturday 15th September Scratchcard Lung will launch their debut album on winning sperm party with a gig at The Pandora, Victoria Road, Glasgow (8PM/£4 on the door). The release will be a 20-track (plus a live set) tape cassette limited to only 50 copies with exclusive scratch cards artwork. edit: spunked up the scratchcard. they're not to be. artwork pure and simple.
We will also have EXECUTIVE LEGS join us from Leeds plus locals WORLD PEACE and PHAT TROPHIES!
The atmosphere of the Pandora is something else. We anticipate quite a party… come on down for cheap drinks and good times. All door money split between the bands. All bands given food and shelter.

First song of the first* gig of new Glasgow band The Yawns. You may recognise faces of CATH Records lo-fi enthusiasts Emma Smith (bass) and Sean Armstrong (vocals) plus Stonehaven-born Copy Haho/PVH/Battery Face members Mini (guitar - left), Rikki (drums) and Gav (guitar - right).
This is everything I saw at the Doune the Rabbit Hole festival on Sat 25/8/12. There weren't any programmes or listings going about (apparently no specific times on them anyway) so most of the selection was pot luck from wondering about. Hope you enjoy.
For outdoor thrashing fuzz, walk over the motorway footbridge from Kinning Park Complex and join us on the other side at 5.30PM for Muscletusk and World Peace. Likely to be an exciting situation.
UPDATE: New graffiti found in Glue Factory toilets. Who is doing this?
Good morning. The Phat Trophies/The Downs outside Music is the Music Language gig today will be right infront of the SWG3 under the archway, NOT the abandoned warehouse location stated in the programme. However, if for some reason we're not in the archway right outside the SWG3 by 4 oclock, then keep on walking west along the cycle path to the abandoned warehouse (that is stated in the programme) and that's where we'll be instead. Kicks off at 4.15pm today, have a good time!
Tapes will be on sale at the following gigs and thereafter in the w s p shop right here. There's only 100 so don't miss out. More details/artwork to follow...
On this September 1st and 2nd 2012 we will be providing outdoor music experiences for each day of the Music is the Music Language festival in Glasgow. MitML is an anti-mainstream two day Scottish music gigathon curated by Emily Roff (Tracer Trails) & Fielding Hope (Cry Parrot) set across Kinning Park Complex, Grand Ole Oprey, The 78, SWG3 & Nice n Sleazy.
At the moment we can say that the w s p outdoor arena will be somewhere near the SWG3 on Saturday and somewhere near the Kinning Park Complex on Sunday.
The purest known rock n roll entertainment will be provided by

Promise of a debut double album has yet to be seen at time of writing. In the meantime the track on this soundcloud features 3/4 of bong monster (i think?) and is brilliant. http://soundcloud.com/elvistrevor
