Releases and Fun this Summer

We've just brought out the debut Smack Wizards album and have a bunch more great new local records coming out soon.

With funds raised at the maryhill party last september we are releasing some records on vinyl. Off to the pressing plant right now is a split 12" by Vom and the Gummy Stumps and a 7" by Ultimate Thrush. These will also be available for free download.

There will be new releases from Streets of Rage and Eternal Fags on some sort of formats.

On the 9th July there will be another all-night party featuring Action Beat and 10 Years of Fortissimo Records (Bletchley DIY) plus many more acts to be announced.

The Exhaustion Hook

This Friday 22nd April Rob Churm (Gummy Stumps) opens his new solo gallery "The Exhaustion Hook" featuring etchings and drawings, including a large improvised wall drawing.

The opening is 7-9PM (plenty time before the Pifco gig at Dows) at Sorcha Dallas, 5–9 St Margaret’s Place, Glasgow. That's sort of between Mono and Glasgow Green. After that the gallery is open until the 27th May.

Here's a chat Churm gave earlier in the year at "Pecha Kucha", Tramway about his first band "The Family'.
